Jiggle Jam Etiquette

We are first and foremost a fun, relaxed and friendly class, however, to ensure the enjoyment of all of our attendees, please take note of the following;

  • Please supervise your child at all times
  • Jiggle Jam is an opportunity to bond and interact with your child. Music has many benefits to your child’s development, both physically, intellectually and emotionally.  To get the best out of your time with us, please interact with your child, showing them how to play with the props and instruments.
  • Jiggle Jam is a social experience for you and your child. Adults are always welcome to chat but please try to keep voices to a level where others who are trying to enjoy the class are able to hear the songs and music.
  • Once you have your own bucket of props, please discourage your child from playing with the props in the other buckets. We all appreciate that this is not always easy (understatement!) but we have parents attending with anxieties about sanitation so any effort made to help with this is appreciated. ๐Ÿ™‚

How Does It Work?

When you arrive, please park prams or pushchairs along the right-hand side of the hall.

You will find chairs arranged in a horseshoe shape, with colourful buckets full of props and instruments placed on top of the chairs.

If you have come just you and your child/children please find a single chair with a single bucket.

If you have purchased a family ticket (two adults plus child/children), or an additional child over 5 ticket, please find two chairs placed together with a single bucket.

If you have other combinations of tickets (eg. Family Ticket + Additional child over 5 ticket + Additional adult) you’ll find the perfect combo of seating all ready for you ๐Ÿ˜‰

At the beginning of the session, children are invited to put a toy into the toy sack which they then retrieve towards the end of the session. If you feel your child would like to join in with this please bring something along for them. ๐Ÿ™‚

Cancellations & Refunds

If for any reason you are unable to attend your session, please let me know either via messaging the Jiggle Jam Facebook Page, or let me know via text at 07568 514994.

If you can give at least 24 hours notice, I’m always happy to refund a booking (minus the ticketing and processing fees of 5% + 15p) or, move the booking to another session for you.

If notice is less than 24 hours I will endeavour to sell your ticket. If I am able to do so I can then and then move or refund your booking.

Please try to provide as much notice as you can, but I appreciate that’s not always possible. We often have a waiting list of people wanting to attend.

Waiting List

If a session that you would like to attend is fully booked, please feel free to reach out to me and let me know your preferred method of contact should a space become available.

Directions & Parking

You will find us at The Shekinah Church, Penzance, Taroveor Rd, Penzance TR18 2AA.

Depending on how busy it is, some days there are plenty of spaces to park dotted around the local streets. Some days you could be driving around for 20 mins and not find a space. If it feels like it’s a busy day, I would suggest heading straight for a car park to save you that time.

On-road parking is normally to be had on Caldwells Road or the adjacent, Tolver Road. You might even get lucky with one of the 45min spaces just outside the building.

After that, the closest car park is the little spot just above the top of Causewayhead. After that, the place where most of the drivers to Jiggle Jam park, because itโ€™s so big and often easy to find a space, is St Erbynโ€™s Car Park (a large car park on the right-hand side as you drive down Clarence Street).

If, in the unlikely event that St Erbynโ€™s Car Park is full, further on down Clarence Street there is another car park and then a few others dotted around the area.

If there is anything else I can help you with or any questions you might have, please donโ€™t hesitate to ask! ๐Ÿ˜Š Jenny xx
